[ Instead of a welcome message, there's just muffled noises as Hunter tries and fails to get his comm to do what he wants it to do. ]

Oh yeah, go for it! The whole box only cost a couple of spoons anyway. He called it a grab bag even though it's clearly in a box?

[ Hunter sorts through more of them, drawing out a couple of turtle designs. ]

[Whoa... patches are cheap. Good to know. Casey scoots closer until he slides off the couch, better able to work at the shorter table that way. He fetches some paper from his bag, setting the patches down above it, and starts doodling some alternate logo ideas combining the two.]

It's too bad the Lou Jitsu dojo never had a logo... I could have used that. It'd probably be something like a bowl of soup, though.

[ Hunter watches this for a moment, curious? Not sure what Casey's doing here. ]

Why a bowl of soup?

[apuckalypse]

[He's drawing a very basic fish, currently. It has a hatching pattern that looks suspiciously ladder-esque.]

Oh, that was his catch phrase. When he was doing a big ultimate attack to take down the final boss, he'd yell, "Hoooooot soup!" I think it's in every movie.

... Is soup a weapon in the human world?

[apuckalypse]

Not that I know of. Hot soup is hot soup.

[Yeah he doesn't really get it either.]

No matter how much I learn about humans, there's still something new and confusing...

[ He continues sorting until he finds ... there we go. Another cardinal patch, which he holds up to the light to examine. ]

[apuckalypse]

[Casey chuckles. He can't deny the weirdness on that one.]

If you had a battle cry, what would it be?

[pyrighteous]

Uh.

I - um - I have no idea?

[apuckalypse]

You should think about it! It's supposed to make you feel strong and unbeatable. And it can be anything.

[As evidenced by Hot Soup being one.]

[pyrighteous]

... Then what would yours be?

[apuckalypse]

Well, I'm a Hamato. [He can say it now! Proudly! Sensei and Raph said it was so.] Of course I'd say "Hot Soup"! It used to strike fear in the hearts of all Krang.

[Or at least some of them.]

[pyrighteous]

It'd definitely terrify me, that's for sure. After I stopped being confused.

[apuckalypse]

It's usually scarier when accompanied by big-bladed weapons and Hamato ninpo. But even hot soup can be dangerous if you throw it at someone's face.

[pyrighteous]

I guess that's true too. And it's scarier being something that you normally eat actually sort of eating you.

[ He picks out a few more cute animal patches. And some fruit designs. ]

I - uh - don't normally use a battle cry. With the Collectors, it's a better idea to sneak up on them.

[apuckalypse]

That makes sense. It was the same with the Krang, usually. You want to get your first strike in by sneaking, quick and deadly.

[Even if present-day turtles seem to do that a lot more rarely...]

But, once you surprise attack them and the battle's on, that's when you can use it! It's meant for a big finishing move.

[pyrighteous]

... How many Krang do you usually finish off?

[apuckalypse]

Well... me personally? None of the main three. They're too strong. But I've taken out loads of Krang hounds or zombies, way too many to count. So I guess hundreds?

[Their numbers are basically infinite so he never thought to track it.]

[pyrighteous]

Whoa. I - kind of assumed they were invincible? That's amazing.

[ Mostly he's impressed with Casey okay, but there is also a light lowering of expectations. ]

[apuckalypse]

The Krang leaders sure feel invincible. Even in the timeline where we won, none of them died. The leader was trapped, one blew up with the Technodrome, and the third was captured. The biggest danger with the Krang was usually how they could overwhelm us with numbers.

[He sets one lone patch in the center of the pile, then slides all the rest over it, that one patch completely lost in the middle.]

We could fight three, we could fight a dozen. But hundreds and thousands? Our group wasn't that big.

[pyrighteous]

[ Hunter leans over to watch that. And ... winces. Totally different from his own apocalypse, but certainly a vivid image. ]

I guess they'd overwhelm you no matter what if they have enough of them.

[apuckalypse]

Yeah, exactly! And if you're not careful, they can infect you and then you're just part of the hoard. That was always my biggest fear...

[pyrighteous]

[ Hunter shivers a little at that. ]

Yeah, I don't blame you. The Collectors don't exactly infect people, but once you're taken over there's not much you can do.

[apuckalypse]

[Casey glances over at him, pursing his lips. That's right, Hunter had been... he hadn't shared details about how, but he had at one point been taken. He can't imagine.]

...But you made it out. We both did. We'll be okay from now on.

[pyrighteous]

[ Yeah. Even now, he doesn't offer any more details. That's a nightmare he intends to keep private, at least for now. ]

We - we did. I'm sure if either of those things came here, there'd be a ton of people protecting us.
