Uh... it's a toss-up, if I were to guess. Either he'll be really interested in the science aspect of it, or he won't care at all because it's magic cloning. Might ask for a blood sample. The heart thing would fascinate him. He's a science nerd and you're a new subject to examine. Same as everyone else.
[In other words, nothing darker than that. No reason for him to go eww, grimwalker and reject Hunter entirely.]
It's kind of in the name- it's what I do when I go to his place. We go to the lab, and I assist him. A lot of it is managing his data, running menial tasks, doing the easy stuff so he can focus on the big picture.
I promise, you don't have anything to worry about.
[Or, well. Usually there is something to worry about but it's more of a "what crazy thing is he doing now" rather than "this person is malicious towards me". Crazy brother vibes, not evil uncle vibes.]
[He's getting the best of 'em. Big hug. Today started so strong, and he doesn't want this to ruin the day entirely. It's still Christmas, after all.]
Got a preference? I'll keep an eye on my relic, let you know as soon as we can get things moving with whatever this is. The rest is your pick. Whatever's gonna cheer you up.
[Plenty more days for this. And Casey is well used to this sort of thing not being resolved quickly. In his world they worked twenty years and never found a cure for Krang infections. This seems like a much simplier problem to solve.]
I watched some Christmas movies with Rue, so I know about some of them. There's still lots I haven't watched. We can look them up and see if they're any good.
[Casey bumps back with a soft smile, coaxing him back over to the couch, which he nudges into place and gestures for Hunter to sit again.]
I'll get rid of these [he gestures towards the jars, out of sight, out of mind!] and get a movie going, so just get comfy. You took care of me, now it's my turn.

How do you think he’ll react?

He knew me before anyway. The other me. So - maybe it won’t be so bad.
no subject
Oh, that's right! He said the other you was a lab assistant. I wonder if he already knows about the grimwalker thing.

[ A pause. ]
What’s a lab assistant…?

[Usually he's dismissive and blase! Nice is an improvement!]

[ he’s concerned?? ]

Well - as long as he’s a good person, I guess.

Are we calling him then…?

[Putting aside the jar to bring out his relic and toss off a quick text for Donnie. It's in god's hands now.]
no subject
And it’s still not urgent, so.

Want to veg for a while? Get those things out of sight, watch a movie or do more sewing, whatever... quit thinking about it.
no subject
I - uh - yeah. I’d really like that, honestly.

Are there human movies that are specific to this holiday?

[ The words sound hollow in his ears, but the sentiment is true. He can't bear to look at either of the doom jars right now. ]
