I mean, I tried a few things? Like - arsenic candy and belladonna tea. And I almost died.

—That's not an allergy, that's him literally feeding you poison?!

[pyrighteous]

He didn't feed me poison, I fed myself poison.

[ A beat ]

I didn't know it was poison! It's not poison! Witches eat it all the time!

[heartlands]

He shouldn't just have poison laying around where you can eat it!

[pyrighteous]

It was in the cafeteria! Th-that's why he doesn't let me go to parties! He DOESN'T want me to eat poison!

[heartlands]

The cafeteria?! That is literally the last place poison should be!

[pyrighteous]

I know right! That's why it's allergies!

[ A group of scouts pass them, laughing. ]

So it's fine. The emperor tells me what to do and what to eat and it works out FINE.

[heartlands]

It is definitely not allergies.

[sighing]

...You sure you don't want to join them? I'd cover for you.

...Wait, really? Are you sure? Would you help the Emperor with his medicine too?

Uh... Sure! What medicine?

It's easy. Just take a palisman to him. I can give you a box of them!

Uh - sure. What's a palisman, what does he do with them?

[pyrighteous]

They're wooden magical creatures that sit on top of staffs. Wild magic, so they're super dangerous.

He, uh. Cracks them open and eats them.

[heartlands]

[long pause.]

Okay. I'll bring him the box. I think you deserve attention more free time, though, so in case I need to help out like this again... Would you happen to know where the rest of them are being kept?

[pyrighteous]

In the vaults. Not that we have many left, but ...

I. I don't know. I've been trying to research other things for him? It's hard though.

Down the hall. The big golden doors - you can't miss 'em.
