I know you said you got into an argument with Eddie, but - he has this ability where he can sync up with people. Kind of access your mind. And Max can enter dreams and fight them.

Of course you are.

It does not matter how many end of the worlds you survive or big bads you face or near death experiences you have.

You can be extremely competent dealing with all that stuff and still be a kid.

[As evidenced by how his face is buried against Hunter while talking, soaking up affection and comfort to deal with nightmares.]

[Ones he has preventing the apocalypse, but sometimes age and dealing with crazy stuff are just a weird combo.]

And then love is involved, I am mostly sure it would have been more concerning if you immediately accepted he was a terrible person.

Flapjack definitely a better choice. He gets family values.

It is also expected that you still love him. [That is the normal psychology according to books.]

The important part is you don't let him get to hurt you anymore because of it. Other than the grief.

Mostly it feels important to reinforce that fact. Dr. Feelings says its very important to validate feelings, especially the ones that don't make sense.

If you feel negatively on the feelings existing in the first place, it will be more difficult to make peace with them and move on from there.

That ... makes sense. I guess. I don't really want to think about those things sometimes, though.

Its easier to just not think of it....but usually I don't sleep much to be forced to.
