They are. Pops can be persuasive when he needs to be [wonder where Leo got that from] but these days he's just tired. Donnie's not good at uh. People. Mikey's too open, and Raph gets anxious.

[He moves to just sit on the bed folded sheets and all.]

So, yours truly handles all the deal making and people skills.

[ Hunter slowly sits next to him. ]

I ... guess it's good that one of you can. You make a good team?

Yep! I mean, I'd hope so, they're my brothers. We figure stuff out.

You and your friends probably made a good team too, right?

[pyrighteous]

Y. Yeah. I mean - I'm not sure what I contributed, but Luz can do glyph magic and is really kind. Gus is the talker, I guess; he does illusions. And Amity's super smart and capable with Abomination, and then there's the Captain. Who's. Uh. Also smart and powerful.

[ He pinks a bit at that last part. ]

[OHOHO. He sees that. Won't say anything this exact moment.]

Everyone contributes something. Just uh - careful talking about magic mystic powers around Donnie, he's got a grudge. Not as bad as it used to be, but uh...

Sooooo. [He leans in a little.] The Captain?

[pyrighteous]

I don’t know how I’m going to not talk about it, since I’m a witch but - I can try.

[ He almost relaxes for a moment there. Almost. ]

I - uh - yes? I just told you about her!! She’s the best!

Uh huh.

The best at what?

[pyrighteous]

At a lot of things? Magic, and flyer derby, and. Plants? And.

[ he’s so red, have mercy on him ]

[There is no mercy to be had with this brother. He can't help noticing Hunter hasn't said this captain's name. Unless her name is Captain, but he's leaning in closer.]

And - and I really like her okay! Is that what you want!?

Honesty's important, Hunter, keep with me here.

So? What's your specialty? You say you don't know what you brought to the table, but everybody's got something.

[pyrighteous]

[ SIGH ]

I’m more of a physical fighter. I’m decent at putting things together? And I can do some magic with Flapjack. Like teleporting.

[neonleon]

[There's a brief war in his expression between lighting up hearing all that, and then a bit of internal highlandering at someone else teleporting like he does.]

Sounds like you bring a lot. What kinda fighting?

[ COMPETITION. Maybe.

Anyway Hunter doesn’t see that at least. He’s still hugging his pillow to his chest. ]

Hand to hand combat. Staff combat. Uh - electricity. Some earth magic? And the blinking. I’ve been training in the Emperor’s Coven for as long as I can remember.

[neonleon]

[Blinking... Must be the teleporting, what he calls it. He doesn't know what an Emperor's Coven is but that's all right. It sounds like he's been training like they have been.]

Okay, well. Sounds like you'll fit right in.

[pyrighteous]

[ Gosh what a nice thought that is. Hunter clings to his pillow a bit more. ]

I have to get home. As soon as I can. Or - at least to the right part of the human realm.

What part is that?

[Okay he's putting together his own plan in his head. He would never make a list, he isn't Donnie, but he can start putting pieces into place ahead of time.]

I ... have no idea. Luz never gave me a name or a description or anything.

[neonleon]

[So Luz is from human world, it doesn't sound like anyone else in their group is. So if there's a way to make contact, he's gotta look into it.]

D'you know anything else about her? Family, last name, anything?

[pyrighteous]

Uh ... I mostly just called her Luz the Human. Which ... I'm guessing isn't a helpful title around here.

[neonleon]

Not really, no. We got a lot of 'em, a few billion in fact.

[pyrighteous]

Human world's a big place! You should see it while you're here.

So yeah. Anything you can tell about her helps narrow that down.

[ He founders for a moment. ]

Sh-she's got dark hair? She's wearing a Hexside jacket? She really likes spiders and snakes and uses glyph magic? She's a troublemaker who caused a lot of problems at Hexside so maybe she caused problems here?

[neonleon]

Maybe.

[It still isn't much. But maybe he can bug Don into running some things and see what they can find.]
