Uh ... I mostly just called her Luz the Human. Which ... I'm guessing isn't a helpful title around here.

[ He founders for a moment. ]

Sh-she's got dark hair? She's wearing a Hexside jacket? She really likes spiders and snakes and uses glyph magic? She's a troublemaker who caused a lot of problems at Hexside so maybe she caused problems here?

[It still isn't much. But maybe he can bug Don into running some things and see what they can find.]

Cool. No problem, we'll figure it out. Get some sleep though.

[ Hunter sags back onto the bag a little. ]

[Leonardo just... looks at him like that. Eventually Flapjack does make his way in here, flying to land on Hunter's shoulder.

Okay, so he's not totally alone in here. That bird... is missing an eye. Okay. Probably more than a bird. Not his business. He's nosy. But it's not his business, but he's noosyyyyyyy-]

Like I said, next car over if you need anything.

-- there you are. Did you make a new friend?

[ Hunter brightens instantly to see his little buddy. Also yes, that bird is 100% missing an eye. Hunter gives the little cardinal a gentle pet. ]

Uh - I will. Hopefully. Not. But.

Yep.

[Okay maybe he should get off the bed if he wants Hunter to sleep at all. Just hops back to his feet and stretches as he wanders out with a wave over his shoulder.

He's not going to his own car-room though. He's going straight back to Donnie with all the info Hunter gave him and maybe? Hopefully Donnie can find something.

By the time morning comes around, Leo made his way back to his bed for a couple of hours. Somewhere though someone's alarm clock is going off.]

[ Hunter, thankfully, sleeps like a rock this first night. Normally he'd have nightmares and other issues, but tonight? He's so tired that even his dreams don't have enough energy to fire off.

So it's a bit of a rude awakening when the alarm goes off. Hunter springs out of bed instantly - trips over the sheets with a yelp and a crash - before stumbling out of his car, looking around wildly for the source of the sound. ]

[From the car next to him is the muffled, annoyed and groggy:] Oh my godddddddddddddddddddddduuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh who is waking upthisearly.

[A second later, a sleep deprived Leo is sticking his head out of his car and glaring out at the rest of the lair.]

Turn it off!

[And about two cars down comes a booming voice: You know Raph likes to wake up early for his morning routine!

Leo groans and just flops onto the floor, head still visible from the entrance.] Every stinkin' day, this guy. He didn't wake you up too, did he?

I - um -

[ What's the right answer?? Pretend he was awake the whole time? Yes that seems like something he should say here. ]

N-no! I was! Already starting my morning routine!

[ Flapjack lets out a sleepy burble from his bed. ]

[Leo watches him from where he's laying sticking half-out of his subway car room.]

Uuuuuuh huh. Sure. [Leo doesn't believe it, but he won't call the guy on it.] What's your routine? Maybe you and Raph can wake up at the same time for a while.

Well - uh - it's morning calisthenics, and then a bowl of gruel for breakfast, and then a patrol of the castle! Or -

[ he looks around at the subway. ]

Wherever I am, I guess.

Ohmygod you're a training nerd too.

[It isn't said with any kind of malice, just the sort of exhaustion that comes from someone who's heard the training schedule far too many times for him to count. He's still watching Hunter though.]

You're definitely getting better breakfast than gruel of all things, disgusting. No, we do good breakfast here. And we don't patrol until night time.

[ He pinks a bit at all of that. ]

It's highly nutritious gruel! The best gruel in the entire empire!

Still gruel.

Bet Mikey's making something waaaay better right now.

[Sorry Leo's like. Trampling all over your entire life up to this point, Hunter, but the idea of gruel being nutritious and filling and 'good' is so beyond his scope.

He rolls forward, feet over head, until he can get them under him in one smooth motion and heads over to him.]

C'mon, I'll show you.

[ It's fine, he's just still reeling from seeing a Belos-shaped blob on the floor and everything else happening.

he jolts at the roll - but Flapjack's still asleep, so no staff to wave around. ]

F. Fine. I guess I'll consider alternatives.

[So he's jumpy. Noted. He motions for Hunter to follow him.]

Promise the alternatives are good. You'll like it, Mikey's the best.

[ He does so. Still stiff and uncertain. ]

Mikey's the ... orange one?

Right, you got it! Our little brother and is, in fact, the best. You catch on quick.

I'm - I'm trying? I had to back in the Emperor's Coven. The Emperor doesn't tolerate Guards who can't keep up.

Hm. Well - don't stress about it to much while you're here. Some of us aren't quite as fast.

[Somewhere, Raph is silent before "HEY!" comes booming across the lair. He definitely heard that.]
