[ You've all done a HELL of a job here in Hunter's heart. Clones rescued! Fragments returned! Memory ghosts ... uh. Well, some decisions sure were made there! I'm sure that will be fine.

Wherever you are in the heart, the walls begin to crack and bow inwards. The floors dissolve away into slime, dropping everyone down into an enormous pit. The various clones you've rescued come too - they're fine, just traumatized - with the Guard you've been helping WHOLE again but staring in panic at the opposite side of the pit.

An enormous, monstrous Belos rises up out of the muck. He doesn't have limbs as much as he has a sprawling mass of tentacles, each tipped with razor sharp scythes. More tendrils creep out of the walls around you, trying to snag at your arms and ankles. ]

This is MY mind now! I will not tolerate your continued meddling!

[ Time to BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF BELOS! ]

And just like before, they crackle SO nicely going through his face. Lichtenberg figures appear up and down his cheeks as his flesh sizzles. ]

[ A slime tendril reaches out from the wall to try and grab the hand Adrien used to channel lightning. ]

The tentacle, frankly, looks OFFENDED? It kind of gets separated from the rest of the goop and disappears! The roomba churns uncomfortably but the tentacle gets nommed. ]

Which is to say Belos scoffs and levels a giant hand at him without even slowing down. ]

[Percival isn't exactly entirely aware of how brain spaces work like this, but he looks up at the pit, tugging arms and legs away from the tendrils and instead positioning himself to aim Bad News back up at him.]

so first step is pulling up one of her two remaining throwing knives.

second step is putting Wei Wuxian's supernatural repelling array on it.

third step is throw as hard as she can right at his face. ]
