Does it have any use other than creating life? It seems to me that something so intensely magical would be good for staves and wands and other such things.
Oh! I see. Welcome, Flapjack. We have water and berries.
Where in from, we use wands and staves to store spells and such. My mistress used to make them. At one point she granted me a staff with several spells to dispel someone else's magic inside because she was too busy to go along with the group to fight him.
I have her notes back home, but I've only ever been able to do the physical side of things. Materials, shaping, etc. I'm not as powerful as she was. Maybe someday... But not now.
[ Flapjack gladly flaps down to the table to partake, then. ]
Huh ... that's a little different from how ours work. Palismen staves are magical enough for anyone to use them, but it's not like they have specific spells? It's more like they give you access to magic in general, or boost your own abilities.
[She sets out two bowls while taking to Hunter. One with berries, another with water.]
There are some like that in my world, but magic users try not to get into physical situations, so they aren't the most popular. If you know the command words, though, anyone can use a wand. A magic staff is a different matter. More power, harder for someone without knowledge to control.
Not a magic one, no. I was frivolous, bought a magical sword with a weapon token for the aesthetic and for the more obvious "Do not attack me" value. It was an unwise choice, really.
Back home, I used to have a few. But I've had to sell or use the ones my mistress left behind. I was planning on making my own, some day, but... Well. I didn't have the chance to learn enough about the arcane side of things before our host summoned me.

I don't think we'll ever see another weapon token again unless Robin's Egg goes far above and beyond.
Salamander has melee weapons as their boon. Rabbit has ranged weapons. The cult hasn't offered weapons tokens as rewards since the boons went out. My guess is that we're going to have to trade with them if we want anything, and I'm hesitant to show them just how powerful such things can be.
Re: DAY 101
I doubt that we do, though. I would have heard legends at least.

They turn into staves too.

Do you have one here?

Re: DAY 101
You should request one next time you get a token then.
